You now have the opportunity to walk from the walking path, the Camino, on Haderslev Næs through the path system in Sønderballe to the Kalvøstien. Regardless of the weather, the routes in Sønderballe are always worth a walk. There are many places with magnificent views - and here they have put a bench. Then you can sit for a moment and enjoy the sea, landscape, fields, fruit trees - and being there. From the hill, Store have, between Genner Bugt and Diernæs Bugt, there is a particularly fantastic view of the sea on both sides of the hill - and of Løjt Land, Nordals and Barsø.
On the beach you get the most "wild" experiences, on your hike in Sønderballe - and there are wonderful sea experiences waiting with views to opposite shores. Put on solid footwear - the rocks along the coast are often greasy. Especially along the red route on Sønderballe Hoved. Above the coastal cliff out to Genner Bay, there is a hiking trail at the edge of the field. It is a trodden path - a footpath. In winter it is not always clear - but stay on the edge of the field - and be careful where you go. During the winter, there is a risk of landslides.
For the route on the beach, it is only possible to travel barefoot on the entire route when the water level is 30cm below normal water level - so keep an eye on it at www.dmi.dk
