Damgaard Mill was built in 1867 by Lensbaron Holger FC Stampe-Charitius to Nysø, who owned Grønnebækgård at Hovslund.
The mill first ceased grinding grain in 1972. The entire mill machinery is still functional. Damgaard Mill is one of Denmark's best-preserved buckwheat mills.
Damgaard Mill is located in scenic surroundings. There is a nature camp site at Møllen.
The mill has a capacity of approx. 100 people. The mill is suitable for camp schools, etc. There is toilet, bathroom etc. and the possibility of indoor accommodation.
