At the Danish Clock Museum you can try and hear about the Danish clock traditions, about table clocks, animal clocks, carillons and clocks in traffic. You have to touch the things, you have to photograph them, and everywhere there is movement in the gears, rollers and perforated tapes of the old works.
In the upper-class household, the clock comes on the table. It calls the manor's staff for duties, meals and gathering.
In traffic, it is fixed pitcher equipment. It becomes indispensable in the railway station and at the intersections, later on the bicycle and the tram. And the milkman and the Home IS car use it to attract customers' attention.
For a surcharge (DKK 20), the ticket also gives access to the Sønderjysk School Museum, which is located next to the clock museum.
Guided tours can be arranged for larger groups outside normal business hours. Please contact them by email. by phone or by mail.
