Aller Mølle has existed all the way back to before 1500. The mill was owned by the king in his time.
In 1911 the mill burned and was subsequently rebuilt.
From 1983-1988 a recovery project was completed for Taps Å at Aller Mill.
The purpose of the project has been to recreate the old mill pond, which had disappeared due to filling, sanding and overgrowth, and to create a fish passage at the 2 meter high barriers at the mill. In this way, among other things, salmon can reach large spawning areas found in the upper parts of the river system.
By the lake there is a packed lunch house where the packed lunch can be enjoyed overlooking the lake.
